The Maybelline Rocket Volum' Express mascara promises to give your lashes length and volume, and it does just that. I want to like this product because it wears well, but the black tip applicator i'm not so much a fan of. The bristles are quite sharp and prickly, not a description of something you want near your eye.
I tend to have to apply it quite carefully not to touch my lid at the base of the lashes because it's quite uncomfortable, which is a bit of a shame because you want to start at the base to maximize on your length.
On the Maybelline website however, the head on the applicator is different so maybe they've improved it? Do share if you've tried the new applicator, but for me with this particular one, it won't be making my top ten.
